Job Description

The Technical Analyst II - ITSM supports consistent, accurate, reliable processes, metrics, and tools to drive operational efficiency and improvements in the CMG Technology organization. This may include service cost management, operational score card and improvement metrics, change control board and approval process, application administration for Service Delivery applications and oversight for outsourced technology services related to process measurement and reporting.

Responsibilities   

  • Host regular Change Review meetings, ensuring adherence to defined processes, and supporting change agent requirements.
  • Manage Problem Resolution efforts and coordinate post mortem reporting and associated processes.
  • Collaborate with CMGt leadership, staff and vendors to define processes, metrics, scorecard and reporting requirements related to IT service management.
  • Deliver regular reporting on scorecard captured metrics and identify improvement opportunities
  • Assist IT Management with vendor management functions related to process improvement, new vendor establishment and performance evaluations.
  • Evaluate new businesses/new business areas for process improvement opportunities
  • Assist with on-boarding new staff/businesses/business areas around processes related to IT Service Management
  • Act as liaison with project management office and enterprise architecture groups

 

 

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a business analyst, financial analyst, operations analyst or similar role.
  • 3+ years of experience working in a technology organization.
  • Working knowledge of technology subject areas such as infrastructure, application development, project management, SaaS solutions, cloud, etc.
  • Working knowledge of ITIL; ITIL V3 certification preferred.
  • Working knowledge of technology change board governance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Advanced skills using MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Experience in development of presentation materials that convey concepts and data for an executive audience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of the organization from technical resource to management level.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently given direction from a lead.
  • Detailed oriented and quality conscious.
