Description: As a Systems Analyst III you will facilitate the day-to-day operations for Cox Media Group's Order Management systems, ensuring efficient operation by our end-users. This includes responsibility for the workflow process, understanding of the digital ad stack and product catalog, and focusing on following CMG processes to ensure accurate delivery, reporting, and billing. 

• Facilitate the day-to-day operations of CMG's order management (sales enablement workflow and invoice systems).

• Coordinate with CMG properties to ensure adoption of tools, best practices, and CMG Digital Revenue & Operations strategies.

• Provide analytical and technical hands-on support for the core application and associated interfaces.

• Support multiple SaaS providers within the ad technology stack, including (but not limited to): troubleshooting, escalations, custom solutions, and technical and/or systemic guidance.

• Prioritize, troubleshoot, and resolve functional/technicalissues as may arise with critical production systems (ex: data discrepancies, file layout differences, billing errors, misapplied payments, revenue discrepancies). 

• Act as SME for the CMG order management systems when interfacing with other products and CMG teams.

• Lead internal and external relationships as point of contact for all teams that touch revenue via digital order management.

• Support any business system changes for integrating ad/sales systems.

• Collaborate with multiple IT areas (server and network support, application development, database maintenance) to apply system changes/maintenance (ex: application fixes/enhancements, security patches, OS/hardware upgrades) as needed to support the core system and interfaces.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Required: four-year degree or equivalent.

• 8+ years experience working with an ad / sales operations/IT team

• 4+ years in sales, planning, ad inventory, or sales systems

• Familiar and experienced with ad industry tools, including (but not limited to): Google Ad Manager, Operative, NewsCycleSolutions, Yieldex, AdWords, Wide Orbit (traffic or digital hub), Google Analytics, Adobe DTM (or other tag management vendors), Brightcove, Anvato, and Oracle EBS.

• Must be demonstrably able to implement tools and technology in ad sales, operations, and technology areas.

• Must have strong, clear, and concise communication skills, and know when to e-mail vs when to call.

• Must be comfortable working across multiple platforms, including (but not limited to): Windows, MacOS, Android, iOS. Preferred 

• Adtech/Martech or other industry related certifications

• Technical degree and/or equivalent experience in troubleshooting, SaaS management, web development, and/or software development.

• Should have strong analytical, strategic, and creative problem-solving skills, ideally leveraging tools for storytelling like Gantt charts and/or pivot tables.

• Should have proven ability to navigate the complex digital media landscape and effectively deliver operational objectives.

• Should have experience using ticketing and tracking systems such as JIRA, Version One, or Service Now (list not all-inclusive).

• Intermediate-level (or higher) JavaScript and HTML5 knowledge and experience. C# a big plus.

• Proven experience in making change and negotiating across groups to ensure project/team needs are met.

• Multimedia or digital sales experience, or media planning experience, especially related to optimization.

• Experience with Agile project teams as a contributor, product owner, or scrum master.

• Experience creating digital ad products or leading digital strategies, including (not limited to) product development, yield management, P&L.
