Job Description

The Senior Manager, HR Operations has primary responsibility for identifying, defining, planning, tracking and managing HR operational projects in partnership with the People Solutions and Information Technology teams. The Senior Manager, HR Operations has expertise in all areas of HR including Total Rewards, Technology, Services, Recruiting and Talent so they link all of People Solutions operational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Drive and own HR operational programs and initiatives from planning to delivery to ongoing management. HR operational programs will include process improvement through people, process and technology, utilizing technology to enhance the employee experience, and other initiatives to support the People Solutions team and business needs.

Looks at all the People Solutions Supports the development and tracking of key People Solutions metrics including HR Service Delivery, Benefits and Talent.  Understand the data architecture, data collection processes and quality assurance processes to build and/or enhance People Solutions’ ability report on high quality metrics.

Liaison with Information Technology on all technology projects that involve the People Solutions team to ensure priorities and project plans are set to align to the People Solution’s departmental goals.

Provide proactive thought leadership on best practices that enhance the overall employee experience through key people systems and operations.

Proactively research and understand all People Solutions systems to help inform stakeholders of potential improvements or other functionalities.  Additionally, become knowledgeable in other technologies that may help immediately or in the future to create process improvements.

Establish and maintain relationships with critical partner groups (HRBPs, total rewards, talent, recruitment, learning, payroll, finance, technology, etc.) to understand their needs, ensure alignment on objectives, and ensure ongoing buy-in across all people systems and program activities.

 

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Advanced skills within the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project)
  • Ability to manage multiple critical priorities/projects with strong organizational skills including demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with different stakeholder sets; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within agreed upon time frames through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience developing and executing project plans
  • Working experience managing HR technology implementations and enhancements
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, presentation and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to build relationships and interact with senior leadership
  • Ability to make decisions considering long-term implications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
