Job Summary

Cox Media Group is looking for a Paid Social Analyst (REMOTE-US). The CMG Local Solutions Digital Fulfillment–Social Analyst reports to the Social Media Manager and is directly responsible for implementing social media strategies for clients. The Social Analyst can quickly understand and support initiatives that will contribute to the goals and success of not only their client campaigns, but the broader team’s entire portfolio of social business. They oversee the setup and delivery of social campaigns between CMG and external digital fulfillment providers. This role will be accountable for ensuring social campaigns for all TV & Radio properties are fulfilled on time and produce results that meet or exceed client expectations.

This individual is accountable for all aspects of social digital products and services including managing budgets, minor ad copy development, strategic bid management and optimization. They will develop & implement 3rd party digital fulfillment including product offerings, processes, workflows, SLAs and KPIs. The analyst onboards customers, processes orders, optimizes results in partnership with vendors and trains junior team members. 
 
The analyst will identify underperforming campaigns, troubleshoot issues and make changes to improve results. They will also manage the process of efficiently translating campaign requirements into effective, actionable information for external fulfillment providers.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Conduct process reviews, then propose & assist with implementing the necessary changes where gaps exist. 
  • Support other analysts where needed to achieve campaign objectives, key performance indicators, and meet SLAs. 
  • Mentor new hires by providing onboarding support and training on all relevant job requirements 
  • Provide coaching and direction to team members on evolving social best practices 
  • Create, implement, optimize and manage top-tiered Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn & other campaigns.    
  • Assist the manager with ensuring the team is consistently following current SOPs & communication standards. 
  • Actively test and optimize campaign strategies that drive incremental volume  
  • Provide detailed analysis of key metrics and program tracking techniques in order to increase overall performance efficiency for Social campaigns.  
  • Make recommendations and implement necessary optimizations as a result of ongoing data-driven campaign performance analysis  
  • Provide feedback and insight on reports that will be delivered to clients as well as those used internally  
  • Maintain high levels of current knowledge of best practices and strategies in the management of online paid media  
  • Participate with Digital Campaign Specialists and junior analysts on client calls during account planning and development, as needed  
  • Work with team to troubleshoot campaign or performance related issues 
  • Consistently collaborate with all departments and management within CMG Digital Revenue & Operations to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction  
  • Keep up to date on all client and campaign communications  
  • Handles escalation and fulfillment of social orders that are exceptions to the standardized product catalog and SLAs 
  • Work with social team to educate sales markets on social offerings, best practices, tools and processes 
  • Adhere to QA and SLA standards for social fulfillment and hold vendors accountable for meeting standards 
  • Provide consistent feedback to fulfillment providers to facilitate continuous improvement in the quality of service and campaign results. 

 

 

What we look for

 

  • Minimum 4+ years’ experience working in social campaign management 
  • 6+ experience working in a digital advertising operations or fulfillment role. 
  •  2+ years of experience in working with partners or 3rd party providers. 
  •  3+ years of experience in digital marketing including SEM, SEO, social, content marketing, reach extension, programmatic, video, display advertising and website development. 
  •  Demonstrated ability to manage multiple 3rd party partners to achieve desired results. 
  •  Proven skills in digital campaign management including processes, workflow and campaign performance against SLAs and KPIs. 
  •  Resourceful, results-driven and excels at “getting things done”. 
  •  Strong ability to negotiate and problem solve issues to positive outcomes. 
  •  Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in cross-functional collaboration. 
  •  Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to learn and apply new concepts and tools quickly. 
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  •  Analytical and possess the ability to evaluate data and interpret results. 
  •  BA/BS from a 4-year university or equivalent preferred.
