Job Summary

WSB-TV is looking a full-time Local Sales Assistant to support our sales team. In this position you will need to successfully operate in a fast paced, high pressure environment. The ideal candidate will be a key contributor to our sales team's success.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Enter TV sales orders into our internal operating system while meeting strict deadlines.
  • Maintain schedules and paperwork.
  • Resolve any advertiser schedule discrepancies.
  • Assist local sales account executives and sales managers with important tasks effectively and efficiently.
  • Perform general office duties including answering phones including the switchboard, back up for other assistants and other key clerical duties.
  • Updating station materials including media kits, program one-sheets and other sales documents.
  • Prepare post campaign reports

  • Accurate computer data entry skill and ability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
  • Must be able to work in highly collaborative environment.

  • Self-directed, motivated, and with exceptional multi-tasking abilities.
