Job Summary

KIRO-TV is looking for a full-time Local Sales Assistant to support our sales team. In this position, you will need to operate in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment successfully. The ideal candidate will contribute to our sales team's success.  

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Enter TV sales orders into our internal operating system while meeting strict deadlines.  
  • Maintain schedules and paperwork.  
  • Resolve any advertiser schedule discrepancies.  
  • Attend weekly sales meetings 
  • Assist local sales account executives and sales managers with important tasks effectively and efficiently.  
  • Perform general office duties, back up other assistants, and complete other vital clerical responsibilities.  
  • Updating station materials, including media kits, program one-sheets, and other sales documents.  
  • Prepare post-campaign reports

  • College degree preferred but not required. 
  • A professional and positive attitude 
  • Highly organized and possess the ability to switch focus quickly when needed and work on multiple projects at the same time. 
  • Accurate computer data entry skill and ability. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office. 
  • Excellent written and verbal skills. 
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, able to act with a sense of urgency and adhere to set deadlines. 
  • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team. 
  • Must be able to work in highly collaborative environment. 
  • Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service skills providing quick response time and accurate issue resolution. 
  • Results-driven and highly accountable. 
  • Self-directed, motivated, and with exceptional multi-tasking abilities.
