Job Summary

Reporting to the Promotions & Activations Manager, the Promotions & Activations Assistant serves as a brand ambassador for the stations and assist with operations of an active promotions department.



The requirements of the Promotions Department, include, but are not limited to:

- Liaise between the station, it’s listeners, and clients

- Assist in the setup, execution, and break down of promotional events, such as sales remotes, in-studio performances, concerts, festivals, and parades

- Organize and repack promotional materials & equipment for all promotional events

- Operate, organize, and maintain station equipment, including vehicles and sound equipment

- Help manage, organize, create and construct contest pages with completed rules & regulations

- Help to complete contest & promotional calls

- Contribute and help create station event and contest on-air advertisements

- Other in-office help for the promotional department and cluster stations

  • - Professional demeanor with customer focus, a proven team player who can handle pressure situations
  • - Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • - Must be energetic, outgoing, proactive, and passionate about music.
  • - Must be able to handle multitasking, working with the public and handling station equipment properly.
  • - Must be able to lift a minimum of 40lbs.
  • - Enrollment in a higher learning institute concentrating on degrees in marketing/communications, video/audio editing, hospitality/tourism, or related fields.  High School diplomas will be considered.


Additional Qualifications

  • - Video/Photography shooting and editing skills not required but are a plus.
  • - Blogging/Social Media/Graphic Design skills not required but are a plus.
  • Bi-lingual not required but a plus.
