Job Summary

Cox Media Group is looking for an experienced Multimedia Producer professional to join our corporate radio digital team. This individual will work under the direction and parameters of the Digital Audience Development Manager and in harmony with the Digital Content Team at Cox Media Group.  The ideal candidate should be collaborative, creative and professional with entrepreneurial spirit.  They should also have sound creative judgment and production expertise with video in addition to a working knowledge of audio production. Our aim is to produce outward facing video materials as well as internal initiatives with a focus on results and high production value. This is a fast-paced, ever-changing media environment where flexibility is a must.  Projects include, but are not limited to; brand messaging, short and long-form videos for both internal and external clients with multi-platform consistency. The ideal candidate will be a creative specialist with particularly strong camera and video editing skills

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Editing, producing and shooting video projects
  • Editing audio projects for podcast channels
  • Conceptualizing and building original video concepts for social media, web sites and broadcast
  • Managing assigned projects from start to finish.
  • Maintaining superior communication with all stakeholders through the project process
  • Managing and maintaining internal podcast channels
  • Collaborating with both internal and external clients on all media platforms
  • Working quickly and efficiently on tight deadlines
  • Staying up to date on industry trends and implementing new ideas into work

 

 

What we look for

  • Mastery of Adobe Production Suite, i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, Audition
  • Non-linear editing skills via AVID, Adobe Premiere or equivalent
  • Proficient in lighting design and camera operation
  • Working knowledge of audio production
  • Excellent communications skills with team members, technical partners and management
  • Ability to load and unload equipment on shoots
  • High degree of proficiency in creating the right visual element to deliver high-quality content
  • Ability to work flexible hours including occasional holidays and weekends if needed
