WPXI is looking for someone with a great passion and understanding for news across all platforms to be its Digital Content Leader. This individual will play a major role shaping the news content. 

Effective October 1, 2021, all newly hired CMG employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to their start date. CMG will provide reasonable accommodations as required by law for individuals unable to be vaccinated due to a medical condition or sincerely held religious belief. 

The Digital Content Leader will take charge of daily digital strategy. This involves working with a team to create and execute the right plan each day for our digital platforms, take advantage of streaming opportunities and develop strategies to improve our metrics.   

The digital lead also works closely with the other News Managers, CMG corporate teams for digital and OTT strategy, as well as help lead station coverage during breaking news, elections, political debates, and annual station community partnerships. 

The right applicant will have strong news judgment, understand the type of content that performs well on each platform and can juggle multiple assignments. We need someone who can communicate a clear strategy to a team. Strong organizational skills are a must.
