Reporting to the CMG President & CEO, the Leader, Corporate Operations and Planning interfaces with all aspects of the business, as well as the executive leadership team of Cox Media Group, Inc. and the company’s private equity sponsor, Apollo Global Management, and the CMG Board of Directors.
The Leader, Corporate Operations and Planning is a highly visible role that acts as a force multiplier, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in developing and driving CMG’s strategic business priorities. As an equal and trusted member of the CEO’s direct report team, you will be the liaison, influencer, and aggregator that ensures that the executive leadership team operates as a high-performing team while ensuring that the company's highest priorities are successful.
The nature of the job varies based on then-current organization needs, but the primary functions include operational execution, planning, critical project management, performance tracking, leadership events, driving cross-functional collaboration, and working with the CEO on external and internal events, presentations, and similar initiatives. You will have visibility to a wide-range of media business activities and initiatives at a senior management level and must be able to navigate a rapidly evolving dynamic marketplace and organization to manage a broad range of activities and projects of varying degrees of complexity shifting from strategy to tactical execution, as needed.
