Job Summary

Cox Media Group is looking for an experienced Digital Content Lead to join our corporate radio digital team. This individual will work under the direction and parameters of the Digital Audience Development Manager and in harmony with the Digital Content Team at Cox Media Group.  The ideal candidate should be a strategic thinker with a solid understanding of digital content with the ability to communicate and implement best practices set forth by the Digital Audience Development Manager.  Within their market, this individual will work closely with the local sales department, Promotion Director, station Brand Managers and the corporate digital team to achieve short and long-term goals.


  • Acting as a liaison between local market and CMG corporate digital to communicate goals, structure and best practices.
  • Handling of day to day duties in their assigned markets
  • Directing and monitoring online activities of all digital platforms within the market
  • Coaching and enforcing best practices for air talent and market digital contributors
  • Partnering with programming, promotions, news and sales to drive ratings and revenue
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Knowledge of broadcast & journalism experience a plus but not required.
  • Can effectively communicate with peers, advertisers and consumers
  • Able to work flexible hours including occasional holidays and weekends if needed
