Job Summary

Cox Media Group – Tulsa has an opening for a part-time Board Operator for our award-winning local radio stations.   This is an entry-level position, and a rare opportunity to join a winning team and work for a company that puts people first and sincerely values passion, initiative and innovation.

  • Use our digital on-air systems to run our news and talk programs.
  • Create and edit audio using digital audio software.
  • Use digital content management systems to create and publish digital content to our website.
  • Create engaging and effective social media content.

This position may involve on-air announcer duties the evolve with experience and tenure.



What we look for

  • Education: a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: While no previous media experience is required, experience with creating and editing digital content, audio or video content, is useful.
  • Physical Requirements:  This position works in on our main control room. The shifts are generally 4-8 hours in length. Can stand or sit, as they prefer.
