WSOC is looking for its next Anchor/Reporter to join our growing Eyewitness News Team.
Responsibilities
- Enterprise stories by developing sources and contacts.
- Write and produce news stories for television, web, and mobile.
- Make creative use of live technology to help tell a story
- Work with photographers to gather and edit compelling video and sound
- Understand and implement station's research-based goals
- Candidate must utilize social media/digital platforms
- Must be able to work under tight deadlines and respond quickly to breaking news.
- May be asked to make public appearances for the station.
- Schedule may include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
