As an Account Executive for Cox Media Group, you will work closely with our clients as a trusted advisor to deeply understand their unique business goals and partner to help achieve them. In this role, you will collaborate with local sales managers to evangelize solutions that will help customers reach their target audience. Responsibilities:


As the Account Executive, you will be responsible for the sales on air inventory and websites, major event sponsorships, and digital assets offered. This position requires an energetic, highly- motivated and committed team player who will maximize and develop profitable new opportunities for both the advertiser and Cox Media Group. As a Multimedia Account Executive, you will focus on uncovering customers’ marketing challenges and developing solutions that will help meet goals and deliver results. Ideal candidate should have the ability to build influential relationships and generate new business opportunities consistently.

 

 

What we look for

Qualifications:


•    The ideal candidate will have a college degree
•    One to two years media sales experience, and a proven track record of business development required
•    This candidate will possess a keen understanding of marketing and have experience negotiating with ad agencies
•    Strong command of online display advertising, streaming audio and video, and search marketing is preferred
•    Excellent presentation skills
•    Excellent verbal and written skills
•    Hard-working, integrity, relationship-builder with a winning attitude
•    Must have valid driver’s license and be able to pass background check.
